Plans within plans
The night was different from the day in only one aspect – darkness. No matter how dark the sky was, the heat never left the streets. The air stood still; it smelled of tar, of exhaust gases, of humans and of their sweat. Only those whose home was on the ground-floor reluctantly kept the windows shut. No resident of this part of the city would voluntarily offer their home and belongings to a stranger’s face – or rather to a barrel of a loaded, unlocked gun.

[author’s note: This is crazy… and it started with a harmless joke, and no, this is not our new favorite kink! Definitely. Not.
Genre: writer and artist on crack or worse
warnings: the cover says it all. Don’t take this too serious! We don’t! Well, the characters of course, more or less. Most of the time. AU and non-canon! Don’t do drugs, kids! Read this story instead. Or look at the cover. Look at the cover again, dammit!
Not beta-read. Mistakes are intended to add to the artsy atmosphere *ahem*]
“Does that hurt?”
“Stop it, asshole!”
Mike’s voice was hoarse, and the next torrent of curses he wanted to slur at his twin was abruptly ended when he threw up for the third time today.
“Gabe, stop that already!” Irritated, he tried to shove his brother, who was kneeling next to him, away. Mike had spent the last 30 minutes in front of the toilet in their own bathroom, and of course, Gabe had joined him. With mild curiosity, the usually unaffected brother had begun to poke against Mike’s stomach.
“Dammit, I hate ya, fuckin’ bastard!” The older brother spit out a last time and inhaled carefully. His now empty stomach seemed to settle a bit. He got back to his feet and with weak, shaky legs, he turned to the sink. Thoroughly, he rinsed his mouth until the bilious taste vanished.

IN VINO VERITAS
The annual assembly was finally over. Like every year, a date close to Christmas had been chosen to gather the leaders of all teams around one table. Every year they debated about the past months, missed and achieved goals, the efficiency and therefore, the revenue and reputation of TF Industries. Upon satisfaction of all instructions coming from the supreme authorities, raises in salary were usually granted, as well as the approval of applications for new and better equipment.

Set Me on Fire - Part 2
Louis climbed out of the water and smiled back at him. The white shirt he wore stuck against his pale body and made him look even sicker than he was already. Jean frowned. It didn’t escape him how tired and exhausted his lover was, only from swimming the short distance from the infirmary to this room. The young man had ended his reset too early. However, now he was here, and in spite of all reason Jean was glad to see him.
“Louis!” Jean opened his arms when the new arrival slowly came closer. He wished he could meet him halfway, but his tentacle was still confiscated by the little creatures.

He had been one of the first successes of the project, but not the first result, and that was fortunate for him. His surgery wouldn’t have gone well, considering how the procedure had ended for the first two. The list of operations and modifications was endless. Years of theoretical research on the alteration and manipulation of the DNA of two different species had been done and completed. However, no matter how thoroughly the scientists had calculated and analyzed their data, from the very beginning failure had been taken into account, sacrifices for the progress. After all, a plan such as this hadn’t been considered ever before, let alone executed.
„I didn’t have many friends in my old Team. Well, truth to be told, I had only one.
You know, I never really was accepted by that Team. I did a quite a good job, no - a damn good job, but none of them would ever appreciate it. They ignored me most of the time…
…and if they didn’t, it was worse.
I joined the Team when I was 25. Beside our Scout, I was the youngest of the Team, but they had no problem with him.
They had a problem with me, just and only with me. In fact, apparently our Spy had a huge problem with me. She was such a sharp-tongued bitch. Gradually, more and more of them turned against me.
But, honey, I never gave in! I am who I am – that I had to end up with a complete Team of ignorant assholes was… unfortunate.
Really, all of them were assholes, except, as I said before, one man.

Part 3 – final -
Although they were all familiar with the layout of the base they only proceeded slowly. Glass crunched under their feet. As much as Tyler tried, he couldn’t always suppress a curse or pained groan when another little, sharp shard cut through his skin and dug into the flesh of his sole. Similar reactions from Jo told him that his team-mate struggled like he did.
However, he grit his teeth and ignored the pain and how slippery his steps on the smooth surface of the wooden floor began to feel. The last thing in the world he wanted was to slow the rest of the little group down because he had been careless earlier.

“FUCK!” Tyler cursed.
“Great work, Sonny, really. If I ever need help replacing a light bulb, please remind me not to ask you!” The only visible light source was a gleaming, orange dot, coming from the burning end of the female Sniper’s cigarette. By far not enough to illuminate the room, but at least it helped them keep their orientation in the darkness.
“B… boss… what now?”

A few month ago Ligeia ask me about my greatest fears ….well and based on that, this is what I got for my Birthday. :’D Thank you so much again honey it’s fantastic! ♥
Living in the basement of a building that, on the outside, didn’t look much different from any office block in any industrial park was surprisingly agreeable. The age of the building itself might have exceeded the double-digit range. The everyday facilities, however, had been replaced only a few years ago. The wiring of the electricity was as new as the bathroom installments, the kitchen or even the carpets and wallpapers in their private domains. Maybe not always cutting edge, but it was modern enough to grant a comfortable life. As long as no intermezzos like unsupervised explosions, insane killers on the loose or a robot invasion threatened the inhabitants of the headquarters of Team King. In the end, the quality of the environment was easy to sum up – not as prim or bleak as a standard military keep or business division, but also not of the luxury of a hotel or normal residential complex.
It was a busy, sometimes chaotic and even dangerous place. It was, however, nothing to complain about for those who had once chosen a career that had not much to do with business offices or white-painted fences in front of neat, little houses.
